The Job Description
What you'll do
We are looking for a team player with a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position in a hotel. You will consistently deliver the highest standard and quality of customer service, thereby ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience in all F&B areas and that service expectations are exceeded.
You will have the ability to work well with all team members in the F&B departments, manage the shift in conjunction with the Restaurant and Bars Manager and work to a high standard in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure all members and guests have a memorable experience in all F&B areas with exceptional customer service
Manage the shift in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure that staffing levels reflect the demands of the business and that payroll costs are kept in line with KPIs.
Ensure that the food and beverage team on duty are fully briefed and allocated duties for their shift
Monitor, train and lead the team in service standards.
To be responsible for atmosphere and presentation of all F&B areas
Upselling the food and beverage menus
To check all guest account signatures and ensure all bills are settled.
To follow the cashing up and cash handling procedures.
